Terms and Conditions for use of this software and service
Welcome to the Paymentus Corporation's Bill Payment Service. Paymentus Corporation provides its services to you subject to the following terms and conditions. If you use this service to make your payment, you accept these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. At any time before pressing the Make Payment button, you can press on the End Session button to terminate the transaction and exit Paymentus' secure website and return to the billing company's website.
Refund Policy: Paymentus charges a refundable service fee for the use of its software, service and the secure infrastructure to make a payment to your billing company. This fee is separate, over and above your bill payment amount. A service fee may be refundable if the originating payment is subsequently refunded by your billing company through our service.
Privacy Policy: Your information is secure and Paymentus will only use it for the purpose of processing this payment transaction.
By Clicking on the service fee agreement button, you agree to pay the total amount charged which includes both the bill payment amount to be paid directly to the billing company and the Paymentus service fee to be paid directly to Paymentus Corporation. When setting up scheduled payments, you agree to pay the total amount charged including the bill payment amount and the Paymentus service fee for the initial payment and all subsequent scheduled payments processed through the Paymentus system.
Please note that Paymentus Service Fee is collected directly by Paymentus Corporation for the use of its software, service and the secure infrastructure to make this payment to the billing company. This is not a fee for the use of the credit or debit cards. Your billing company does not receive any portion of the Paymentus service fee. Your cardholder statement will show two separate line items related to this transaction: 1) For your Billing Company for the actual bill amount paid directly to the billing company 2) For Paymentus service fee paid directly to Paymentus Corporation.
Payment transaction will only be completed after receiving successful authorization from your card company for two independent transactions: bill amount for the billing company and the Paymentus service fee for Paymentus Corporation.
Prohibited Use: Please note that Paymentus does not accept payments from collections agencies and third party agencies. Paymentus reserves the right to reverse all such payments if it discovers that they were made from a such third party agencies or collection agencies.
